Of course, at Solvite we know very well that we’re only part of the story. After all, impressive as our adhesives are, on their own they don’t create much of a decorative effect. Which is why we work with other leading companies and bodies in the sector to ensure that the wallcoverings industry is constantly developing and that our products are constantly improving.
Solvite has worked with two leading manufacturers of wallcoverings in our Inspiration Room to ensure that we are up to date with the latest developments in wallpaper technology. CWV has been designing beautiful wallpapers since the 1830s – including household names such as Anaglypta, Crown, Coloroll and Vymura. Whilst proud of its heritage, CWV constantly looks forward, producing ground-breaking designs and exciting new textures. Graham & Brown is at the cutting edge of developments in wallpaper design. And it was one of the first companies to work in conjunction with high-profile designers such as Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Julien Macdonald, Hemingway Design and Linda Barker.
We’ve also joined forces with the Painting and Decorating Association, the body that represents the decorating trade across the UK and sets the standards for quality and professionalism amongst contractors. We’ve created these relationships because we’re determined to deliver products that will satisfy the creativity of our customers whilst making wallpapering as easy as possible. This is why we can provide adhesives to suit all types of paper – luxury, textured, heavy duty, woven and non-woven.
The varied range of wallcoverings and consumer insight help Solvite to drive product advances such as paste-the-wall and ready-to-roll adhesives. It’s this sort of co-operation that keeps our industry moving forward and helps our customers realise the visions they have for their most important possession.
